Service Officiant
A Personal Note About
My Officiation Work

Serving as an officiant is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I consider it a privilege to learn about your loved one, understand your family’s traditions and dynamics, and craft a ceremony that truly reflects who they were.

My style is calm, steady, personal, and inclusive — equally at home with Jewish, interfaith, and non-religious families. I work with each family to create a personalized ceremony reflective of your loved one’s life, your family’s wishes, and the tone you want for the service.

Families often share that having an experienced, compassionate, grounded presence leading the service helps the day feel more manageable, more authentic, and more meaningful.
If your family prefers a certain type of clergy member, or officiant/celebrant, we can help to identify and secure one – among the many we work with –whose approach aligns with your needs.
How We Create Each Ceremony:
We Listen Deeply
We begin by learning about your loved one—their personality, values, relationships, stories, and what made them unique.

We Craft a Personal Service
Working closely with each family, we craft a personalized service that may incorporate a eulogy, reflections, readings, rituals, or secular elements according to your preferences.

We Coordinate Seamlessly
We work with your chosen funeral home, cemetery staff, musicians, and family members to ensure a calm, organized, and thoughtful service.

We Support You Throughout
We remain present as a steady guide—before, during, and after the ceremony.
Who We Serve:
We support:
-
Families of all faiths
-
Jewish families (traditional, modern, or secular)
-
Interfaith families
-
Non-religious families
-
Families without a clergy connection
-
Funeral homes seeking a reliable officiant partner

Every family is treated with dignity, sensitivity, compassion, and respect.

Need Help Identifying Clergy or an Officiant/Celebrant?
For families who don’t have a connection to a clergy member, we help identify rabbis, cantors, ministers, interfaith leaders, or other officiants/celebrants who align with your family’s values and the tone you want for the service.
Our goal is simple: to ensure your family has the right person leading the ceremony — someone who honors your loved one’s life and legacy in a way that feels authentic and comforting.
